The Tata Memorial Hospital and the Asia Pacific Association of Surgical Tissue Banks cordially invite you to the 11th International Conference on Tissue Banking to be held from the 24th to 26th November, 2006 at the Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, India.

The Conference theme this year will be ¡°Issues on Tissues¡± in recognition of the increasing variety of cells and tissues currently being banked and the plethora of ethical, legal, technical and medical issues raised. Deliberations will focus on recent advances in cell and tissue banking and current practices in the clinical application of biomaterials and banked tissue. Avenues will be provided for poster presentations, and the exchange of expertise and networking across scientific disciplines.

The Conference will also provide an excellent opportunity to experience the vitality of Mumbai, a city that never sleeps. A tourist's delight, Mumbai offers a cultural feast with its colonial architecture, theatre, music and art exhibitions, gourmet restaurants, shopping arcades and vibrant nightlife. A few hours away to the north east of Mumbai are the Ajanta and Ellora caves, soul-stirring world heritage sites, and to the south, Goa, a paradise of sun-kissed beaches and coconut palms. And if you want to pamper yourself take a trip on the world-class luxury trains Deccan Odyssey or Palace on Wheels (Rajasthan).

So come, participate in the Conference and take time off to enjoy the magic that is India.
